The following people have been arrested for their involvement in multiple area burglaries: Lucas McCaig, 18, of Dayton, Beatriz Ornelas, 22, of Liberty, and Jacob Scarborough, 26, of Liberty County. Some of the burglaries were in businesses in Dayton and occurred over the Easter weekend. These three are currently facing felony charges with future charges for multiple burglaries, theft and robbery expected resulting from additional offenses committed in and around the Dayton area. The agencies involved in this investigation are the Dayton Police Department, Liberty Police Department and, the Harris County Precinct 3 Constable's Office. The Dayton Police Department would like to thank these other agencies for their assistance and efforts to help locate and arrest these individuals. Due to the fact that these crimes have occurred during a declared emergency, some of the charges will be raised to that of one level higher than normal.

McCaig is also suspected of burglarizing a Barbershop in Crosby where he stole a handgun, and a business called TayCo Farms. Suspect, McCaig, is pictured below. While we already know who he is, we do not know WHERE he is. That's where you come in.
