According to 1st, Responders on Scene 1-person was extricated from the vehicle in critical condition. The victim was transported by helicopter to a nearby hospital.
The MVA happened on Hwy. 75 between Huntsville and New Waverly on Wed. Oct. 23, 2019 Just before 5:00pm, Claimed 4- lives and 1-person was Life Flighted
DPS, reported that a Black 4-door Ford was heading South on Hwy.75, and a White 4-door Ford Fusion was heading North on Hwy.75. The driver of the Ford tried to pass in a NO PASSING Zone, and was at the bottom of a hill. When the Ford got to the top of the hill it allegedly hit the Fusion head-on
The Accident remains under investigation by the Department of Public Safety.
