59-PURSUIT ENDS in CRASH MCCP4 DEPUTY INJURED

On Sunday April 7,2024 Just after 3:i00 am Alejandro was returning from a party when a Montgomery Sheriff’s Office Deputy attempted to stop him. Alejandro fled and a pursuit ensued. As the pursuit got to the northbound exit ramp of FM 1314 on I-69, Alejandro hit a curb then rammed into a Montgomery County Precinct 4 Deputy. Both crashed. Alejandro fled the scene on foot. The deputy was transported to Kingwood Hospital in serious condition with head injury. Deputies fanned out looking for Alejandro but were unable to locate him. It was then learned that last October Alejandro fled from Humble Police late at night with no headlights in excess of 100 miles per hour in his uncles vehicle. The pursuit also ended on Sorters Mcclellan Road after Alejandro crashed. Leaving his passenger friend behind he fled on foot. A warrant was issued in Harris County in December with a $40,000 bond but Alejandro was never arrested. After visiting with the deputy early Sunday Constable Hayden called all his deputies’ in with the task of finding Alehandro. The first location they ran was his uncles home on Indigo Way in Porter. They were unable to locate him there. Is uncle who cooperated with law enforcement was able to determine that Alejandro was located at a church on Loop 494 at Ford Road. As units responded to that location it was learned that his brother had picked him up and advised law enforcement that they were at the Jack In The Box at Sorters and FM 1314. Alejandro was taken into custody without incident. He will now be booked into the Montgomery County Jail on evading charges and the Harris County evading warrant. In addition, charges in Montgomery County could be upgraded to aggravated assault on a police officer. Constable Hayden said he wants to see Alehandro in prison. His deputy will be off for an extensive time due to his injuries.
