A call was received by Montgomery County Dispatch of a male lying on the side of the road just inside the guardrail at Creekwood and I-69 in East Montgomery County. Splendora and Patton Village Police arrived on the scene to find a deceased male in the grass alongside the guardrail between the southbound freeway feeder of I-69 and the Peach Creek bridge. On the roadway was a suitcase and a baseball cap. One witness who lives in the subdivision said Monday morning about 7 am as he was leaving he saw the suitcase and what appeared a person lying in the grass but thought it was a homeless person lying there. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Violent Crimes responded to the scene. Rios Funeral Home transported the male to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy.
