Car Jacking, in Cleveland early Thursday morning


Just passed midnight on Thursday 1/30/20. Cleveland PD dispatch received a call, A male entered Whataburger and advised he had just been robbed and needed EMS officers arrived on scene and determined the male had a gash on the head and advised a suspect w/m dressed in camo approximately 30yrs old took his vehicle a silver Mustang last seen heading 59 Northbound.

(I'm not sure exactly were the vehicle was taken from) I just know the male entered Whataburger for help. The victim was transported to the hospital.

San Jacinto County was notified of the situation and advised the suspect may possibly be armed, moments after dispatched A SJC Deputy spotted the vehicle went by with no lights on at a high rate of speed. An attempt to stop the vehicle turned into a pursuit with speeds up to 100mph the chase went passed Livingston and turned back 59 Southbound the suspect took 190 Exit and headed east several LE agencies involved by this time. The pursuit came to an end with the suspect in Custody at 12:27am at the Shell Station on Hwy 190 and Hwy 146. Cleveland PD is en route as well as a wrecker from Cleveland to tow the vehicle back to the city. This is an active investigation at this time. Will update if any other information becomes available.
