CarJacking by Gunpoint, in New Caney 3- Arrested

About 8:30 p.m. on 4/30/20 Thursday night a customer at the Exxon Handy Plus at 24712 FM 1485 was carjacked at gunpoint for his Dodge Challenger. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and a description of a white Dodge Dakota with a license plate number was broadcast. Police units throughout the area started to look for the truck and the Challenger. The victim said the truck had at least two persons in addition to the robber. Montgomery County Precinct 4 Lt. Looza and K-9 Deputy Duneas were traveling down Tram Road near Hill and Dale when Looza spotted the truck and called for backup. Splendora Police responded and as the truck turned into a private driveway on South Oak Creek Drive the suspects were arrested. They told deputies that they had left the orange Challenger on Tram Road near Appian Way in Roman Forest. Montgomery County Precinct 4 Sgt. Taylor responded to that location and found the vehicle. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies took all three suspects into custody.
