Cleveland PD Felony Arrests 8/15-8/19

On Wed. August 19, 20220 Cleveland PD Officer Rosas was dispatched to 420 W. Southline aka ( 105 ) in reference to a vehicle theft, While en route to the call Officer Rosas spotted a vehicle matching the description provided of the stolen vehicle.

Officer Roasa conducted a FELONY traffic stop at the corner of Boothe st and N. Washington aka Loop 573 , driver who identified as Dustin Wayne Myers 30 yr. old from New Caney was detained.

A female passenger was detained and identified as Carey Niederhofer Jenkins 48 yr.old from Liberty County

Officer Rosas investigation lead to Mr Myers did intentionally steal the vehicle.

The female passenger Carey Jenkins was found to be in possession of a baggie containing methamphetamine.

Dustin Wayne Myers was charged with Theft of a Motor vehicle- State Jail Felony

Carey Niederhofer Jenkins was charged with PCS - Possession of a controlled substance.

On Tue. August 18, 2020 CPD Officer Rosas made a traffic stop for a traffic violation at intersection of Hunt st at N. San Jacinto ave.

Officer Rosa made contact with the driver, identified as Jeffery Lloyd Burrell 60 yr. old male from Cleveland .

During the stop Officer Rosas observed Mr Burrell attempting to conceal an unknown item in his pocket. While trying to detain Mr Burrell a struggle ensued and he attempt to destroy a baggie containing a large amount of Cocaine.

Jeffery Lloyd Burrell was charged with

Manufacturing/Delivering of a controlled substance- Penalty Group 1- First Degree Felony

Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence - Third Degree Felony

Resisting Arrest/Search of Transport- Class A Misdemeanor

On Sat. August 15, 2020 CPD Officer Skipworth conducted a Welfare check on a a person who was sleeping in a vehicle in the 2400 block of E. Houston aka Hwy. 321

Officer Skipworth made contact with a male who identified as Kelley Howard Webb 59 yr. old from Liberty County, upon further investigation Officer Skipworth discovered Mr Webb was in possession of a baggie containing methamphetamine.

Kelley Howard Webb was charged with PCS

Possession of a Controlled Substance- Penalty Group 1 - Third Degree Felony
