Corrigan PD-Pursuit ends south of Livingston on Sun. night. 3-Arrested

At approximately 10:30 pm on Sunday May 22, 2022, The Polk County Sheriff's Office Dispatched all units that a pursuit was in progress. Corrigan PD attempted to stop a vehicle (older model Chevy pickup) and the driver refused to stop and a pursuit started on Hwy. 59 Southbound it continued with consistent speeds of over 100 miles per hour. Other agencies joined in the pursuit including State Troopers, Deputies with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and units with the Livingston Police Department. The suspect vehicle was successfully tire spiked in the Livingston area. The pickup finally left the pavement to the right just south of the Livingston City Limits and stopped in high weeds. During the pursuit, the occupants ditched a .38 revolver pistol. Three were arrested. One female and two males. Two suspects were arrested immediately, One of the males temporarily escaped into the high weeds. Moments later he was caught hiding in the weeds and immediately took him into custody.

The males were identified as Jose Ruiz, Jr., 54, of Houston, and Michaeal Anthony Ruiz, 32, of Houston

The female was identified as 42 year old Ginger Terrill, of Kennard.

Michael Anthony Ruiz was the driver he was charged with evading arrest in a vehicle and tampering with evidence with intent to impair.

Jose Ruiz was charged with tampering with evidence with intent to impair and had a warrant out of Tom Green County.

Ginger Terrill - was extradited to another agency in another county
