It was reported that the suspect, Jennifer Chatlin, 47, of Dayton, had pushed a shopping cart full of items past the point of sale without paying and exited the store. Sgt. The items were successfully returned to Walgreens where it was determined the total amount of the items taken was just under $1,600. Chatlin was taken to the Liberty County Jail charged with THEFT $750 < $2,500, Class A Misdemeanor, but will be enhanced to a State Jail Felony due to fact this offense occurred during a time of a declared emergency.
