Dustin Darrell Sanders, 30, of Livingston has 10 outstanding felony warrants in Polk County.
This is the 4th Police Pursuit since June 2020 Dustin has been involved in.
On Thursday September 17, 2020 Approximately 1:15 am a DPS Trooper attempted to stop a blue Nissan which was southbound on I-69 approaching SH 99. The driver cut across the median to the feeder and ran south to FM 1314 where he ran over several curbs throwing sparks. He then turned to the northbound feeder and fled at speeds to 90 miles per hour. When they reached FM 1485 the driver went east to Loop 494 and then south to FM 1485. At FM 1485 he attempted to go east by cutting through the Cue Club parking lot and crashed into the guardrail next to the tracks. A male driver and passenger fled on foot. A female passenger remained in the vehicle. One of the suspects running north was quickly stopped when a wrecker driver chased him down on foot and tackled him. The other male ran down Lodge Road and he to was stopped by a wrecker driver as he tried to scale a wrought iron fence. A Precinct 4 Deputy quickly took him into custody. All three were transported to Kingwood Hospital with facial injuries from the crash. Both males had open warrants. The driver was wanted for a previous evading charge and the other male was wanted on drug charges. DPS was assisted by Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and Precinct 4 Constables.

Can't Seem to Stay Out of Trouble, Dustin Sanders Crashes Car Flees Police, LIVINGSTON, September 12, 2020 - At approximately 4 pm on September 12, 2020, Deputy Rey Davalos, with the Polk County Sheriff's Office spotted an older model tan Lexus GS430, driven by Dustin Darrell Sanders, 30, of Livingston. Sanders also spotted Deputy Davalos and immediately fled north of US-59 just north of Livingston. The pursuit was on. Sanders turned onto Castlewood Road, Sanders entered a curve too fast on the unpaved road and left the road to the right and slammed into a tree. His vehicle ignited and quickly began to burn as Sanders exited the burning vehicle and fled into the woods. The Livingston Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the scene and put the car fire out (which was now engulfed in flames). Other deputies and the Texas Highway Patrol were also dispatched to the scene. At time of press, Sanders remains at large. Sanders apparently opted to flee because he has multiple warrants out for his arrest. This is the third police chase that Sanders has been involved in since June.
Last month Sanders was arrested after fleeing police on a motorcycle and then crashed.- Motorcycle Pursuit Ends in Crash, LIVINGSTON, August 7, 2020 - At approximately 5 pm on August 7, 2020, Lieutenant Andy Lowrie with the Polk County Sheriff's Office was south-bound on US-59 and spotted a south-bound motorcycle driving 70 mph in a 55. Lieutenant Lowrie attempted a traffic stop, but the driver, Dustin Darrell Sanders, 30, of Livingston, opted to evade. A short pursuit on the feeder ensued near Livingston Walmart. As Sanders crossed 190 he lost control and was ejected from his bike (in the median directly across the street from McDonalds). Law enforcement from the Sheriff's Office and Livingston Police Department converged on Sanders and he was cuffed. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene and checked Sanders. As a precautionary measure, Sanders was transported to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital. Sanders is likely facing multiple charges. Sanders has appeared very many times in the Daily Arrest Report on this website. Sanders' motorcycle was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
