At approximately 4:14 a.m. On Saturday May 15, 2021 Texas DPS Troopers responded to fatality crash on Hwy. 59, just South of Porter.
The preliminary crash investigation indicates that a 2007 Jeep Laredo veered off the roadway and struck a light pole while traveling North on Hwy. 59.
The driver of the Jeep, Jose Angel Munoz, of Cleveland, TX , was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Accident investigation is ongoing.
