At approximately 11:15 am on June 25, 2022, a black Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by Billy Sean Pady, 44, of Dayton, was north-bound on US-59 about 2 miles north of the Trinity River Bridge. Pady's motorcycle had a rear tire blow out. Pady lost control as the motorcycle turned over ejecting both Pady, and his passenger, Christi Lynn Franks, 44, also of Dayton. Neither were wearing a helmet. Both Pady and Franks sustained serious injuries. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Goodrich Volunteer Fire Department, Constable Darwon Evans, and Troopers Kevin Burman and Nick Hatton with the Texas Highway Patrol. Pady and Franks were transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. Franks was flown by medical helicopter to Houston. Traffic on the north-bound side of 59 was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup. A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Pady's motorcycle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston. This accident remains under investigation by the Texas Highway Patrol.
