About 11:30 am Friday Humble Police received a call for shots fired in the area of Will Clayton and I-69. Units responded to the scene and found a male of the Will Clayton turn-around shot in his vehicle. EMS responded but the male was already deceased. Witnesses saw two black males run from the scene. Harris County Precinct 4 Constables along with Houston Police and Harris County Sheriff's Office assisted in the search but all came up empty-handed. The male was identified as an employee at the Sunoco at that intersection. After viewing the security video they were able to determine the two black males walked into the store and began suspiciously walking around. The clerk was going about his daily routine when he observed one of the males take a bag of chips and put it in his clothing. The clerk followed them outside and confronted them on the side of the store. The two males started to walk off as the clerk retrieved his vehicle to follow them. As they walked across the Will Clayton turn-around feeder at least one of the males displayed a weapon and fired at least two shots. One to the front windshield and one to the rear passenger window. They then fled in two different directions on foot. Humble Police are asking the publics assistance in identifying these suspects.
