LARGE TRASH FIRE SPREADS TO RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE- Hwy. 321 near CR306

Tarkington Volunteer Fire Department reported on Tuesday 7/26/2022

At approximately 12:50 we were dispatched for grass fire on TX-321 near CR306. B51 responded. Dispatch advised that was possibly a structure fire. Mutual Aid was requested from Cleveland FD and Hwy 321 VFD. B51 arrived with Fire Marshal to find large trash fire that had spread to a residential structure. Additional resource were call from Kenefick VFD, Dayton VFD, and East Montgomery County FD to help bring the fire under control. Unit Constable Precinct 5 assist with traffic control.
