On Saturday 9/10/2022 @ approximately 5:30 am LCSO dispatch received a call from the boyfriend of the child’s mother he told the dispatcher that the child was in distress and described his condition as gagging.
Liberty County Sheriff’s lead Investigator Sean Mitchell reported - the early Saturday morning death of the 3-year-old boy is being considered suspicious, pending final autopsy results.
Investigator Mitchell said the child was in a recliner chair at the residence on CR 3792 when emergency first responders arrived on scene and began CPR and continued until arriving at Kingwood Hospital where the child was pronounced deceased at the emergency room.
The investigation is in the early stage but is continuing with interviews with family members and awaiting pending autopsy results
