1. On Monday, August 16, 2021 deputies stopped a vehicle in the City of Liberty for a traffic violation and the occupants of the vehicle were identified as Joey Ray Adams W/M 3-9-1969 and Shianne Ruth Cameron W/F 9-6-1996. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted and the deputy located approximately 29.95 grams of suspected crystal meth underneath the front passenger seat. Both subjects were arrested and charged with Man/Del CS PG1 4g < 200g (Felony 1) due to the amount being more than a personal amount. 2. On Tuesday, August 17, 2021 deputies working the Ames area stopped a vehicle for traffic violations and the operator was identified as Keith Alfred Randall B/M 10-8-1975. A check of Randall’s driver license revealed that Randall had an outstanding warrant through the US Marshall’s Office for Possession of Weapons. Randall was arrested and transported to the Liberty County Jail. 3. On Tuesday, August 17, 2021 deputies working the Ames area stopped a vehicle on traffic violations and identified a passenger inside the vehicle as Joshua Demcie Wilson W/M 5-16-1987 of Snyder, Texas. A check of the person revealed that Wilson had an outstanding warrant through the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office for Criminal Trespassing. Wilson was arrested and transported to the Liberty County Jail. 4. On Tuesday, August 17, 2021 deputies working the Ames area stopped a vehicle on traffic violations and identified one of the passengers as Amanda Leigh Morgan W/F 8-21-1979 of Conroe, Texas. A check of Morgan revealed that Morgan had an outstanding warrant through the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office for Bond Forfeiture for a Possession Controlled Substance PG1 charge. Morgan was arrested and transported to the Liberty County Jail. 5. On Wednesday, Deputies working the Romayer area located a white Chevy 2500 pickup in the back of Horseshoe Lake Estates subdivision parked in the roadway. Upon checking the vehicle registration, the license plates had been reported stolen from a 1997 Red Chevy pickup out of Polk County. Upon approaching the vehicle, a deputy located two occupants sleeping inside the vehicle identified as Mackenzie Cory Miller W/M 4-14-1989 of Livingston and Cora Lee Lewing W/F 1-29-1993 of Arkansas. When attempting to identify both subjects, both provided the deputy with false names. Upon detaining both subjects, the deputy observed drug paraphernalia. A search of the vehicle was conducted and approximately 2.10 grams of suspected crystal meth was located. A check of the vehicle identification number was conducted through dispatch and the vehicle was found to be stolen also out of Polk County. Upon checking both subjects, Miller was found to have an outstanding warrant through Polk County for drug charges and Lewing was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Arkansas for Parole Violation. Both subjects were charged with Possession Controlled Substance PG1 1g<4g (F3) and Unauthorized Use of Vehicle (State Jail Felony) along with their outstanding warrants. 6. On Wednesday, August 18, 2021 deputies working the FM1409 Dayton area initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. The two occupants of the vehicle were identified as Scotty Glen McIntyre W/M 11-29-1971 of Baytown and Jonathan Louis Jones W/M 12-10-1997 of Highlands. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted and multiple plastic bags containing suspected crystal meth was located inside the vehicle along with synthetic cannabis. McIntyre and Jones were both charged with Possession Controlled Substance PG1 < 1g (State Jail Felony). 7. On Thursday, August 19, 2021 deputies were working the Horseshoe Lake Estates Subdivision in Romayer and deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle. Upon stopping the vehicle, the deputy observed the operator throw what the deputy believed to be a glass pipe used for smoking crystal meth from the driver side window. The deputy detained the operator of the vehicle identified as Michael Lee Ford W/M 10-6-1975. The deputy was able to locate the glass pipe and observed that the pipe contained a crystalized residue. Lee was arrested for Possession Controlled Substance PG1< 1g (State Jail Felony) and Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence w/Intent to Impair (Felony 3) and Lee was also found to have an outstanding traffic warrant through the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office. 8. On Thursday, August 19, 2021 deputies working the Rye area initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation and identified the operator as Tina Marie Slaughter W/F 8-27-1964 of Rye. Upon speaking to Slaughter, the deputy asked Slaughter if there was anything illegal inside the vehicle due to Slaughter’s nervousness. Slaugther advised the deputy that she had methamphetamines inside her purse. The deputy located approximately .56 grams of suspected crystal meth. Slaughter was arrested and charged with Possession Controlled Substance PG1 < 1g (Felony 3) and transported to the Liberty County Jail. 9. On Thursday, August 19, 2021 deputies working the Rye area initiated a traffic stop and identified a passenger of the vehicle identified as Marlena Anne Toomey W/F 6-22-1987 of Livingston. A check of Toomey found that Toomey had multiple outstanding warrants, Hardin County for Engaging in Organized Crime and two out of Liberty County for Driving While License Invalid and Fishing without Land Owner’s Consent. Toomey was arrested and transported to the Liberty County Jail. 10. On Thursday, August 19, 2021 deputies working the Rye area checked the registration of a 2019 Hyundai vehicle parked on CR2734 on the side of the road in Big Thicket Lake Estates. Upon checking the vehicle, it was found to be reported stolen out of Beaumont. The vehicle was not occupied but recovered. 11. On Thursday, August 19, 2021 deputies working the Rye area initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at the Fuel Max parking lot. The two occupants of the vehicle were identified as Joseph Blair Gilliland W/M 4-8-1976 and Russel Lee Stutts W/M 11-23-1967 of Saratoga. During the traffic stop, the deputy believed that the two subjects were involved in criminal activity and asked for consent to search the vehicle and was denied. The deputy deployed a narcotic trained K9 and got a positive alert to the vehicle. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted and multiple glass pipes commonly used for smoking methamphetamines was located along with a clear plastic bag containing approximately 1.27 grams of suspected crystal meth. Due to both subjects denying ownership but both claiming use of methamphetamines, both Gilliland and Stutts were arrested and transported to the Liberty County Jail for the Possession of Controlled Substance PG1 1g < 4g (Felony 3).
