MCCO P-4, recent Traffic Stops and Arrests

Below are SOME traffic stops and incidents over the weekend by Montgomery County Constable's Office PCT 4

( May 14-17, 2020 )



 

#PCT4LIVE Traffic stop on Tram and 2090 Deputies recover a stolen ATV reported from Liberty County.


 

#Pct4Live - Tonight one of our Deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic offense and with the help of our K9 "Kodiak" two were placed in custody for methamphetamine and heroin.





 

#Pct4Live - Traffic stop on feeder road of US HWY 59 by DWI/Traffic Unit leads to 2 females in custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine).


 

One in custody for evading arrest/detention after traveling over 100MPH in the 242 construction zone. A second person that arrived on scene was found to have several warrants and was also arrested.


 

#Pct4Live - A Pct. 4 patrol deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at US HWY 59 & F.M. 1485 with 3 occupants inside vehicle. After a brief investigation the male driver was placed into custody for Felon in Possession of a Firearm, female passenger was placed into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) third passenger was placed into custody for Warrants.

NFL Football Player Ed Oliver Arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon Saturday, May 16th, 2020

Around 9pm Saturday evening, Montgomery County Communications received a 911 call from a concerned motorist advising of a white Ford F250 pulling a trailer with an ATV was driving recklessly. The caller advised the area of Highway 242 they were traveling was a construction zone with a 45 MPH speed limit, the white Ford pickup was not able to stay in its own lane and was speeding. An attempt to located was broadcasted over the radio. Soon after a deputy with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office was able to locate and stop the vehicle on FM 242 near FM 1485.

After an investigation, the deputy asked for one of Constable Rowdy Hayden’s DWI Unit’s to make the scene. Shortly after, a sergeant with the DWI Unit arrived and began a DWI investigation. After failing field sobriety tests, Oliver was placed in custody for misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. Inside Oliver’s vehicle, deputies found a small caliber pistol; Texas law states that one cannot be in possession of a handgun while engaged in criminal activity. Oliver was also charged with misdemeanor Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. Constable Rowdy Hayden stated, “Driving while intoxicated is a very serious crime. Many lives have been lost or effected by someone’s decision to drive while intoxicated. Our office is committed to making our streets safer.”


 

#Pct4Live - Traffic stop at FM 1314 and Loop 494 in Porter, TX leads to two in custody for felony possession of methamphetamine.
