Meet Harris County Deputy Mathes in our Traffic Enforcement Unit

HCSO- Deputy C. Mathes in our Traffic Enforcement Unit. In 2020, we distributed one Chevy Camaro to our traffic enforcement deputies in each of our 5 districts so every area would have designated personnel to address traffic complaints and issues. The purpose of the ghost Camaros is to support our multi-pronged efforts to get dangerous drivers off our streets so that we might ultimately shed our region’s dubious distinction for having the nation’s deadliest roads.
