12:30 p.m. -- UPDATE FROM GRIMES COUNTY SHERIFF DON SOWELL about the disappearance of Christopher Ramirez near Plantersville. To recap: The child came home yesterday afternoon with his grandmother and mother. The women were unpacking their van when they and a neighbor saw the child wander into the wooded area near their home with a neighbor's dog. They went after the kid but lost sight of him, said the sheriff. After 15-20 minutes of searching, the sheriff's office was called by the family.
Mother gives impassioned plea to public to find missing toddler
The sheriff’s office says 3-year-old Christopher Ramirez chased a neighbor’s dog into the woods in the Foxfire neighborhood off FM 1774.
