At approximately 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday August 9,, 2022 A Fire Boss Single Engine Air Tanker/Scooper crashed in Lake Livingston while responding to wildfires in Polk County.
Some residents living in the Bridge View subdivision saw the plane as soon as it crashed they immediately jumped in a boat and went to help the pilott. and took him to shore.where he was treated .
