On Thursday, May 13, 2021, Detectives with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Sex Offender Registration Officer with serving a felony warrant for Failure to Comply Sex Offender Duty to Register, on Roger Dale Gallier. Roger Gallier was out of compliance for failing to report his address, which is a requirement under his duties to register as a Sex Offender.
Upon arrival at the residence, Detectives made contact with Jessica Gallier and were ultimately able to locate Roger Dale Gallier. Upon the arrest of Roger Gallier, probable cause was obtained for a search warrant, which granted access to the residence and property. Detectives conducted the search and found the above listed individuals to be in possession of marijuana. Further search of the property also led to several stolen items being recovered.
Jessica Gallier was arrested for Harboring a Known Felon and Possession of Marijuana. Roger Gallier was arrested for his outstanding felony warrant, Possession of Marijuana, Display Fictitious License Plate and several outstanding felony warrants out of Jefferson and Walker County. Both subjects were transported to the Polk County Jail, where they were booked in without incident.
