On Friday 1/7/22 at approximately 4:45 am The Montgomery County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office assisted Splendora Police Department with the pursuit of stolen 2002 Dodge truck near the area of FM 1485 and FM 3083; the truck was recently reported stolen out of Cleveland, TX. As it continued further away from the City of Splendora, Pct. 4 assumed the primary role in the pursuit as it entered the City of Conroe.
The pursuit continued through Conroe, Willis, along highways 45 and 105, entering and exiting multiple parking lots along the way, and finally making its way south to the Hardy Toll Road and onto FM 1960. Along the way, the occupants of the stolen vehicle threw power tools and hand tools out of the vehicle hoping to damage the pursuing police cars. As the pursuit continued south, units from Harris County Constable Offices 4 & 5 assisted in the pursuit.
Near the intersection of Beltway 8 and Antoine, the pursuing vehicle struck another motorist on the roadway, then continued to flee. Finally, near the area of Canino and Airline, the vehicle stopped and the occupants were taken into custody.
Constable “Rowdy” Hayden would like to thank the assisting Constable Office’s for helping in the pursuit, blocking off roadways and helping to keep the public safe.
Thank you Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4 and Ted Heap, Harris County Constable Precinct 5 for the assist!
