Plum Grove Fire Department has been running calls for rescues most of Saturday( 01/08/2022 ) evening. This after over 6-inches of rain flooded the community. Chief Brandon Frazier with the Plum Grove Fire Department said they had multiple calls with cars in water to the roof. One big issue they had was vehicles on the narrow Plum Grove Road not yielding to responding emergency vehicles and once on the scene drivers ignored the scene spraying water and causing wakes through the rescue scenes. He said the wakes were forcing doors on flooded vehicles back closed as they were working the vehicles. FM 1010 had water over it as dis Plum Grove Road which was passable after 9 pm just to large vehicles. One resident of 25-years who flooded in Harvey said he has it and moving out. He said the main cause as many others said was the large developments that went in behind Plum Grove with thousands of homes. Tonight, those folks are sitting on the side of the road unable to get to their homes.

Why don't the county ask for help from United States Government like the corp of engineering. Maybe start some kind of ball rolling. You will never get any real business here with it flooding all the time.
