Today Sunday 4/26/20 around 12:00 pm BC151, Engine 151, and Engine 152 were dispatched with the Porter Fire Department for a commercial fire. Porter E121 and Truck 121 arrived on location to smoke showing from the fast food establishment, declaring a working fire and making an offensive attack. Truck 121 laddered the building for vertical ventilation as Engine 151 arrived and laid a supply line across FM1314 and its crew pulling a backup line to assist. The fire was brought under control quickly and contained in the kitchen area and common attic space. This is another example of the great working relationship between EMCFD and Porter Fire! All on scene crews did a great job as multiple tasks were being performed simultaneously.
