PURSUIT/STOLEN PICKUP ENDS WITH ARREST, New Caney

On Wednesday 12/8/2021 , while on routine patrol a PCT. 4 Montgomery County Deputy Constable was in the Silver Trails neighborhood in New Caney, he attempted to stop a White Chevrolet Silverado pickup. The Driver refused to stop and a pursuit ensued. The vehicle came back as stolen . The chase continued to the dead end of Dunn Street then the suspect fled on foot into the woods. MCCO pct 4 Deputies pursued him on foot and were able to take him into custody.

The suspect, Cort Wagnone, was in possession of a firearm and is a convicted felon.
