TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO ARREST
A City of Splendora Police Department Day Shift Officer initiated a traffic stop on First Street for Speeding. A roadside investigation was conducted, and the driver, Preston Clapp, was found to have a Capias Order of Arrest Warrant out of Montgomery County for Failure to Appear on a charge for Theft. Clapp was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
Officers with the Splendora Police Department were patrolling the area of FM 2090 and First Street when they observed a black Tahoe bearing a paper license plate that was unreadable. After initiating a traffic stop on the vehicle, it was found that the driver, Jeffery Dale Weise, had an outstanding Warrant for Burglary of a Habitation/ Probation Violation. Weise was taken into custody and booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
A City of Splendora Police Officer Initiated a traffic stop for a violation. After a roadside investigation, the passenger, Francisco Sereno, was found to have a Capias Profine Warrant out of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. Sereno was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
