ROBBERY, MOTEL 6 in Cleveland

On Thursday 12/23/2021 just passed 11:00 pm Cleveland PD dispatched a call that a Robbery just occurred at Motel 6 on South Washing ave. ( Behind La Costa Seafood & Bar ) the only description of the suspects giving was 2- black males left in a black car. The caller was very shaken up per dispatch. As officers were en route to the call and also looking out for the suspects and vehicle . One of the officers advised dispatch he was attempting to stop a black passenger car 59-Southbound with no lights on, moments later he advised he is calling PURSUIT. The pursuit ended just south of the Ford dealership one suspect fled on foot the driver was put at gun point for a bit. Surrounding agencies are responding with Drone , K-9 and DPS helicopter to search for the 2nd male on in the woods .as of 12:07 am the search is continuing for the second suspect. The driver was taken into custody. also he has a warrant for aggravated robbery out of Harris County. a wrecker is en route for the vehicle .
