San Jacinto County, CONTROLLED BURN started Sat. morning

Coldspring Volunteer Fire Department ~ Posted on Their Facebook page, Sat. morning.

** ATTENTION RESIDENTS **Be advised, there will be a CONTROLLED BURN starting today in the area of Camp Strake, off of 945 N. There will be a significant amount of smoke in the area.

Please know that the situation will be carefully monitored, and it is not necessary to report this particular incident to 911.

As always, if you see something that doesn't look right (i.e. a house, vehicle, or power pole on fire), don't hesitate to call 911.

Please use caution in the area while driving/walking/cycling
