Shooting in Porter

Just after 4 am on Sunday 3/22/20 Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported shooting at the White Oak Apartments on Ford Road. Units arrived along with Porter Fire and MCHD. Inside they found one person deceased. MCHD transported a 62-year-old female to Kingwood Hospital with a possible gunshot wound to the head. She was conscious and talking.  Detectives are just arriving on the scene. Early indications are the female who was transported was shot and the shooter them turned the gun on themself. The investigation is just starting. We will update as additional information is available.
