On Thursday January 20th, 2022 at 11:33 AM, Deputies with the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Sammy’s convenience store located off FM 2025 in regards to a robbery. Once deputies arrived on location EMS and 1st responder made scene at 11:48 to assess the victim’s injuries. After interviewing the victim and getting a description of the suspect deputies patrolled the immediate area attempting to locate suspect. The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male approximately 5’9”, wearing a camouflage ski mask, a black hoodie and black jeans. The victim did not know if there was a vehicle involved. The store is currently being renovated unfortunately, no surveillance footage was available and no eyewitness accounts of the incident. The employee was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
At this time the suspect(s) are still at large and the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the incident.
