Hundreds of officers attended the Memorial Service Thursday morning of San Jacinto County Precinct 1 Deputy Constable Nei Adams. Officers came from as far as New York and Chicago. Deputy Adams lost his life in the line of duty on February 23, 2022, as he responded to a call for help at a Southwest Houston Mall where he was working an extra job. He encountered a suspect who was able to take Adam’s gun and shoot him. The suspect was then shot a short time later when he encountered Houston Police Officers in the Food Court of the mall.
