San Jacinto County Sheriff Capers reported- On Tuesday July 26th, 2022 at approximately 5:00PM, San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of loose animals in the Coldspring area.
Upon their arrival, they located 3 dark red Duroc pigs in the picture below in the 100 block of North Sierra Road, in Coldspring. The pigs were taken to the livestock holding area and will be checked for their health, provided food and water until the owners can be located.
If you own these pigs or know the whereabouts of their owners, please don’t hesitate to contact the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office either by phone or in person.

People are just losing their damn minds. They think the world is coming to an end. Only God knows this no one else does. So very sad to see things like this. They most likely couldn't afford to feed them anymore. And turned them lose. If they were smart they would have put them in the freezer. I really don't know about some people these days. I guess these people do all their animals this way. It's a very sad situation to see or deal with.. Those poor little piggies..
