May 22,2020 TWO WARRANT ARRESTS FOR THE CITY OF SPLENDORA POLICE DEPARTMENT NIGHT SHIFT
An Officer with the Splendora Police Department observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on US Highway 59, and initiated a traffic stop. During the course of the stop, the driver, Chandlar Fails, was taken into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Fails was also found to be wanted for Criminal Mischief out of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. He was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. On a subsequent traffic stop, a roadside investigation revealed that the driver, April Kendrick, was wanted for a Possession of Controlled Substance out of Harris County. Kendrick was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
Chandlar Fails, was taken into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Fails was also found to be wanted for Criminal Mischief out of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. He was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
April Kendrick, was wanted for a Possession of Controlled Substance out of Harris County. Kendrick was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
Splendora PD Officers made a traffic stop on a Blue Ford Fusion for a traffic violation. After road side investigation, it was discovered that one of the passengers, who was identified as Jeffery W. Rhoads had an outstanding warrant for Parole Violation. Rhoads was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
An Officer with The City of Splendora Police Department day shift conducted a traffic stop in the area of US Highway 59 and FM 2090. The driver, Raschard Tramail, was found to be in Possession of a Controlled Substance. Tramail was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
A Splendora PD Patrol Supervisor conducting traffic enforcement spotted a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was clocked at 92mph in a posted 65mph zone. A traffic stop was initiated and the driver was identified by Texas Identification Card to be Abraham Pena
After returns were received to verify Pena had a clear and valid driver's license, it was learned Pena was on suspension along with seven prior Driving While License Invalid Convictions. Pena was placed in Custody and charged with Class B Driving While License Invalid and transported the Montgomery County Jail.
A City of Splendora Police Department night shift Officer initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, who was identified as Marlon Eugene Davis, for a traffic violation. Due to Marlon’s nervous behavior, a search was conducted on the vehicle. During the search, a weapon, along with white powdered substance, was located. Marlon was taken into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Marlon was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
