SPD- Family Violence Call, Suspect Facing Multiple Charges

Day shift officers with the Splendora Police Department responded to a Family Violence Call on Dallie Sue at approximately Noon on Saturday 5/9/20
Upon arrival, Officers were met by Jay Mills. When officers attempted to detain Mills, he began to resist.
Mills was quickly placed into Handcuffs and placed into a patrol car.
After an investigation was completed for Family Violence, Mills was placed into custody for Assault Family and Resisting Arrest/Detention.
During the transport to the Montgomery County Jail, Mills threatened the officer that she was going to harm him and his family once he got out. An additional Charge of Terroristic Threat Against a Peace Officer was also placed on Mills.
Mills was booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
