Splendora PD assist in SEARCH of 92-year old MISSING FEMALE in POLK COUNTY

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is on scene in the Southland Plantation area looking for a missing 92 year old white female that walked away from her home earlier. Her name is Ida Utz Nettles. She is 5’3” and weighs approximately 124lbs. She was last scene wearing blue jeans and a pastel striped shirt.

City of Splendora Police Department -

Splendora Police Departments sUAS Division was requested by Polk County Sheriff's Office to assist in searching for a missing elderly female at approximately 10:30pm. Our pilot was able to provide aerial footage of the land as well as use the thermal camera in efforts to locate the missing elderly female. Out pilot also provided over watch for the TCDJ tracking dogs. Polk County has terminated the search for the night and will resume first thing in the morning.
