Just after 3:30 am On TUE. 5/5/2020 A Montgomery County Deputy came upon a Toyota Tundra stuck in the mud in the Charterwood Subdivision. As he approached the driver fled in his vehicle. The pursuit lasted over 20 minutes as the driver basically made circles in the subdivision. Several times driving through yards. Spike strips were deployed several times but were finally effective in deflating three tires. The driver then tried to go through another yard. That yard, however, had a concrete fence around the perimeter. The driver was taken into custody for possible DWI. Montgomery County Precinct 4 and Splendora assisted.
