Splendora, Theft of Vehicle call- arrest made

Early on Monday morning 8/31/2020 Officers with Splendora Police Department

responded to a Theft of Vehicle call.

After speaking to the reportee and evidence taken, officers were able to identify the suspect. At approximately 6:00 pm, Brandon Deshayes was taken Into custody and charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. Upon further investigation, officers were able to gather a possible location of the vehicle. At approximately 8:00 pm, Lt. Troy Teller was contacted by San Jacinto County Sheriff's Office, who located the vehicle. Lt. Teller met the registered owner and San Jacinto County Sheriff's Office off Martinez Street and recovered the vehicle. Thank you to the San Jacinto County Sheriff's Office for assisting.
