Splendora, TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO ARREST

A City of Splendora day shift officer initiated a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 59N at 2090 for speeding. Further investigation led to the passenger, Brian Thomas Smith, being arrested for 1.2g of methamphetamine. Smith was transported to the Montgomery County Jail. ***ALL ARRESTS AND PHOTOS ARE PUBLIC RECORD. ALL SUSPECTS ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.***
