Sheriff Capers announced about 6:00PM on Friday evening 4/3/2020
After the MAN HUNT concluded Sheriff Capers extends a grateful appreciation to TDCJ-ID Polunski Unit and Wynne Unit- Tracking Dog Units and Correctional Officers, TX DPS Highway Patrol and Aircraft Operations Division, Texas Parks & Wildlife Game Warden, San Jacinto County Environmental Enforcement Department and San Jacinto County Pct. 2 and Pct 3 Constables Office.
From Sheriff Capers on Friday morning- There is currently an active man hunt for a theft suspect in the area of FM 3081, Salem Church Rd, FM 1725 and Old Salem Church Rd. TDC dogs and a DPS helicopter are assisting at this time.
Please be vigilant and secure your homes, vehicles and out buildings. Suspect is W/M, 5'11-6 slender build, wearing a grey long sleeve t shirt and blue jeans. Scruffy facial hair.
