TRAIN vs Pickup, Roman Forest @ 59 feeder Sat. morning

On Saturday morning 8/22/20 at approximately 9:30 am

Officer Culver with the Roman Forest Police Department was on routine patrol, and spotted a pickup truck on the RR tracks at Roman Forest and Hwy. 59 Feeder

with the hood up,

RFPD -Officer Culver tried to help them push the truck off the tracks but it was stuck in gear as the train approached.

Having no time to get the truck off the tracks safely the officer told everyone to get to safety away from the RR tracks, and it was hit by a Train that was heading Southbound.

Everyone involved are safe and no personal injuries were reported.
